Janak's credo as Project Manager is that the right ideas come more often from dialogue with our customers than from a boardroom. This philosophy keeps him on the phone and in the field, searching out your experience and feedback, and inviting you to participate in our design. Grounded in the worlds of real estate and computer science, Janak bridges your vision with our technology.

Janak has a decade's experience in data management, shuffling terabytes of information for some of the largest non-profit companies. He's also proved his information skills in real estate as the founder and broker of a successful rental office. When he's not busy making Kahoots, Janak uses Tai Chi to calm his incurable Red Sox Fever.

As Lead Designer and artist, Stan has his fingerprints all over Kahoots, from the crisp and colorful ads you post, down to the simple fonts you read. Stan keeps Kahoots a neat and tidy workspace for you. Think of it as a lesson from living in Boston - it's important that you don't need directions to find your way around in Kahoots. No feature is done until Stan makes sure it fits, and works, neatly within the bigger picture. Those artists and their fancy words, like Gestalt.

Prior to Kahoots, Stan lent an artist's eye to everything from database software to aerospace engineering. After working as a real estate agent, Stan was drawn to the idea of creating a streamlined, next-generation tool for real estate professionals. Stan is an Artiste, but breaks with tradition by eating regularly and practicing Jiu Jitsu.

Dave balances a writer's knack for clarity with an intuition for the hi-tech. He makes clear sense out of the blur of new technology, turning the funky and futuristic into the approachable and user-friendly. It's paying off, and Dave is proud that Kahoots is helping people who never thought they could work with a computer. Beyond his role as Lead Designer, Dave also heads up our copy writing, and gets to sneak in words like moxie and gusto.

Dave's experience is in enhancing your experience. A force behind the audio startup iZotope, he has since parleyed his talents to launch Kahoots. Dave has built a Renaissance lute, and rocks the dead languages and live music.
